A virtuous event spanning two days.

The Buddha's Great Düichen Day (Vesak) — Buddhism's most supreme festival, jointly commemorating the three events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni: his birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana.

Within this special occasion, the holy relics of the Buddha's disciples Sariputra and Maudgalyayana will travel from India to Mongolia and be enshrined at the Batsagaan temple of Gandantegchinlen Monastery.

A sacred ceremony attended by honored guests, delegates, monks from abroad, leaders of Mongolia's many faiths, and thousands of believers.
